The Settings option provides the user with Design options which can be enabled or disabled as required. The Settings enabled in this dialog will be the default setting—the corresponding Ribbon icon for these settings will be session settings. Select File > OpenComms Settings > Coax > Settings to display the following dialog:

• Link to Strand - determines whether the design features will automatically be linked to strand features during design.
• Unique Amp Name - determines whether duplicate Amp names will be allowed in the design.
• Unique Supply Name - determines whether duplicate Power Supply names will be allowed in the design.
• Trim Tap - trims the strand or trench lines to the edge of the tap cell.
• Rotate Taps – determines if the tap orientation will be parallel to the bottom or placed at active angle.
• Lock Tap – determines whether Tap Plate values will be changed when recalculating design.
